Job summary

MTM, Inc. is seeking a Regional Ambulance Manager (East) to oversee ambulance recruitment, provider relationships, and regional network management. This role emphasizes service quality, provider satisfaction, and efficient operations across the East region.

This remote position supports MTM’s national ambulance program, with travel up to 25% within the East region and coordination with Mobile Integrated Health to expand community services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years EMS or ambulance operations experience; 7+ years preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle recruitment of ambulance vendors throughout assigned region; identify, contract and onboard ambulance vendors
• Lead the retention of and recruitment of the existing network to ensure networks are comprehensive in geographic coverage
• Evaluate performance and costs of ambulance providers and hold vendors accountable for metrics (timely departures, cost, customer service)
• Maintain understanding of client expectations, state/local/client ambulance rates, Medicaid/Medicare fee schedules, and service level expectations
• Oversee and ensure consistency of ambulance policies and procedures; monitor monthly performance metrics and recruitment progress
• Drive cost containment initiatives through reviewing average costs per trip, per mile, and other expenses to meet budgets
