Job summary

Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support the Recruiting team from a fully remote position. You will handle scheduling, assessments, and new-hire onboarding tasks across multiple time zones, using Workday Recruiting and other firm applications.

The role requires 2+ years in recruiting (preferably in a law firm), strong communication, and detail orientation. Attendance and flexibility for extended hours are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in recruiting or related discipline. Previous experience in a law firm or legal environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking and onboarding systems (e.g., Workday Recruiting, iManage/FileSite, NetDocs). SharePoint experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Regular and predictable attendance and ability to work beyond the standard hours, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting operations using Workday Recruiting and firm applications.
• Schedule interviews (telephone, video, in-person) across multiple time zones.
• Create and send assessments, upload results to Workday profiles, and communicate results to the team.
