Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder with an active CPC to join our Radiology coding team. This remote, day-shift position requires 6 months to 1 year of coding experience, ideally in radiology, with CPC in active status beyond CPC-A.

You will code CT, Ultrasound and other modalities. Banner provides remote work resources, flexible hours, and growth opportunities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires Certified Professional Coder (CPC) in active status with recent coding work history.
• Six months providing professional coding services in radiology.
• Remote coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates medical records and assigns appropriate radiology codes (ICD/CPT) per guidelines.
• Abstracts codes and documents information into EMR accurately for billing and analytics.
• Ensures compliance with CMS, HCFA, and other regulatory standards.
• Produces daily/monthly reports as required.
• Works independently in a remote setting with available support.
