Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder to join our Radiology coding team. This remote role requires CPC certification in active status and a minimum of six months of radiology coding experience, coding CT and Ultrasound across Modalities.

The position supports a fully remote environment with flexible hours and resources provided by Banner Health. Training is provided for 1 month+, and opportunities for internal growth exist within the organization.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required with formal training in medical record keeping or related field.
• Active certification in CPC/CCS/CCS-P/CCA/CPC-A/RHIA/RHIT preferred or required.
• Six months of professional coding experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles as recommended by AHIMA/AAPC.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate medical records and assign appropriate ICD/CPT codes per national guidelines.
• Abstract and document information into EMR with accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure coding quality and compliance with CMS, OIG and HCFA standards.
• Generate reports for daily/monthly analytics as needed.
• Work remotely with flexible hours and support from Banner Health resources.
