Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder with radiology experience to join our remote Coding Ambulatory team. The role covers Radiology coding for CT, Ultrasounds and other modalities, requires CPC in active status and offers flexible hours and support from a nationwide coding community.

You will work remotely with resources and training provided; prior coding history in radiology preferred. Banner Health provides benefits and a collaborative, growth-focused environment for coders

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) in active status is required or CPC-A with radiology experience.
• Experience coding radiology (CT, Ultrasound) and other modalities.
• Remote coding background with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical records and assign ICD/CPT codes per guidelines.
• Abstract data into EMR and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with CMS/NCCI and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with providers for clarification when needed.
