Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder with radiology experience to join our remote Coding Ambulatory team. The role requires an active CPC in good standing and focuses on radiology coding for CT, Ultrasound, and related modalities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or an associate degree in a related health care field.
• Active CPC/CCS/CCS-P/CCA/CPC-A/RHIA/RHIT certification in active status with AHIMA or AAPC.

Responsibilities

• Codes ICD-CM and CPT-4 for accurate APC assignment in radiology.
• Abstracts clinical diagnoses and documents information in EMR.
• Ensures compliance with CMS, OIG, HCFA guidelines and coding rules.
• Produces daily and monthly reports as assigned.
• Works independently with regular supervision as needed.
