Job summary

Banner Health seeks a motivated, experienced Physician Coder with 6 months to 1 year of coding experience to join our Radiology coding group. The role is fully remote and requires CPC in active status (CPC-A acceptable with radiology experience).

You will code CT, Ultrasounds, and all radiology modalities, with flexible hours across states. We provide remote support resources, training for 1 month+, and equipment provided by Banner Health.

Qualifications

• Requires CPC or equivalent certification with active status.
• Minimum 6 months experience coding radiology.
• Experience coding CT, Ultrasound and other radiology procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical records and assign ICD/ CPT codes per guidelines.
• Abstract and document coding details in EMR; ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and quality standards in coding practices.
• Prepare daily/monthly reports as required and support coding audits.
