Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder to join our Radiology coding team remotely. The role involves coding CT, Ultrasounds, and all modalities, with a preference for those having CPC and radiology experience.

We support remote work, offer schedule flexibility, training, and growth opportunities. Candidates must have CPC (or equivalent) in active status and at least six months of coding experience in radiology.

Formación

• High school diploma/GED or related associate degree; formal training in medical coding.
• Active CPC/CCS/CCS-P/CCA/CPC-A/RHIA/RHIT certification required.
• Six months of professional coding experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with standard office software.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and abstract medical records, assign ICD/CPT codes per guidelines.
• Query providers to clarify missing information for accurate coding.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OIG, HCFA and Medicaid guidelines.
• Compile daily/monthly reports and analyze coding data.
• Work independently with remote access to coding systems.
