Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to monitor and improve operational performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements. This remote role collaborates with leadership, training teams, and staff to sustain quality programs and drive data-driven improvements.

The position emphasizes audits, reporting, and corrective actions, with a focus on maintaining high-quality processes and supporting performance management across the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of QA experience.
• 3+ years in quality assurance, quality control, compliance monitoring, auditing, operations analysis, process improvement, or performance management.
• Experience conducting audits, quality reviews, and monitoring activities to evaluate compliance with quality standards, policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, identify trends, assess performance gaps, determine root causes, and develop recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to document findings and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits to ensure quality metric requirements are met.
• Develop and update procedures when changes occur.
• Analyze reports on operational performance and provide solutions.
• Prepare routine and ad hoc performance reports and research issues.
• Monitor quality assurance activities and support contractual requirements.
• Develop corrective action plans and implement improvements.
• Assist with training and knowledge-management materials.
