Job summary

Energy Systems Group is seeking an Account Executive to join our Public Sector Central Region. This virtual role requires frequent travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities include prospecting for new business, building deep knowledge of the renewable energy industry, cultivating strong client relationships, and presenting comprehensive proposals to meet customer goals. A bachelor’s degree in business and 5+ years of relevant sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• 5+ years of industry experience selling large solutions
• Willingness to travel up to 50% including overnights

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business, including trade shows and cold calls
• Develop knowledge of renewable energy industry and market trends
• Cultivate relationships and communicate full scope of solutions to meet customer goals
• Open communication with customers to understand needs and ensure solutions align with goals
• Present professional proposals addressing customer needs and including financials
• Maintain customer contact during installation to address additional needs
• Monitor account plan progress and competitive activity
