Job summary

Energy Systems Group is seeking an Account Executive to join the Public Sector Central Region team. This role is virtual with frequent travel up to 30% to 50%, including overnight stays.

You will generate new business with a consultative sales approach and work with utility and public sector clients to achieve revenue and gross margin goals. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business and 5+ years of experience selling large solutions, with a preference for energy services familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Five+ years of industry experience selling large solutions.
• Familiarity with engineering/building trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business through trade shows, publications, web research, and cold calls.
• Develop thorough knowledge of the renewable energy industry and market trends.
• Cultivate relationships and communicate full scope of solutions to meet client goals and sales targets.
• Understand client needs and translate into feasible, installable solutions with operations.
• Prepare and present professional proposals including financial aspects.
• Maintain client contact throughout installation to address additional needs.
• Monitor account progress including market conditions and competitive activity.
