Travelers is seeking an Associate Claim Rep, Outside Property, to receive comprehensive training in claim handling, customer service, and policy interpretation. The program lasts 9-12 months, with remote work and potential work locations near Travelers offices.

The role focuses on developing the skills to handle 1st party property claims, with opportunities to progress to full claims responsibility and ongoing licensing as required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required and internship or work experience in customer service or insurance.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); willingness to learn claims software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; professional and clear communication.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment within established authority and manage multiple tasks.

Mansioni

• Participate in structured training classes on policies, claim processes, systems, and tools.
• Review, investigate, and document 1st party property claims under close supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third parties.
• Learn to determine coverage and scope of damages per policy terms.
• Establish accurate scope of damages for building and contents losses; support estimates.
• Provide timely, professional communication to customers, claimants and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim management systems.
• Adapt to new technology implementations and digital tool rollouts.
