Job summary

Travelers Companies, Inc. is seeking an Associate Claim Representative, Outside Property, to begin with comprehensive training in claim handling and customer service. You will learn policy interpretation and 1st party property claims while working remotely with opportunities to travel to residential and commercial locations.

The program typically lasts 9–12 months, after which you’ll handle claims more independently. Some travel may be required to support customers across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn claims software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training covering insurance policies and claim processes.
• Review, investigate, and document 1st party property claims under supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, and third-party providers.
• Determine coverage for building damages per policy terms.
• Maintain accurate records in claim management systems.
