Travelers is seeking an Associate Claim Rep, Outside Property, to train in claim handling, customer service, and policy interpretation while developing skills to handle 1st party property claims. Remote work with mobile/office options supports a flexible environment.

The role emphasizes building knowledge through a 9–12 month program, with opportunities to progress to full claims handling and licensing within three months of starting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; internship or work experience in customer service or insurance helpful.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn claims management and estimating software.
• Strong verbal and written communication with professional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in structured training covering policies, claim processes, systems and procedures.
• Review, investigate, and document 1st party property claims under supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
• Learn to determine coverage and estimate scope of damages per policy terms.
• Provide timely, professional communication to customers and internal stakeholders.
