Bowman is seeking a Project Accounting Coordinator II to join a remote-first team, preferably in the Central or Eastern time zones. You will own the project billing process, respond to client inquiries, and verify chargeable time in line with accounting standards and policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or commensurate relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience preferred. Any experience in accounting/finance a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Previous experience in the engineering/construction or services industry is required.
• Proven track record and knowledge of working with accounting systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the project billing process and respond to client inquiries.
• Coordinate monthly invoicing for projects and monitor schedules.
• Assist project managers to ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Design and implement processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support billing operations.
