Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. is seeking a Project Accounting Coordinator II to support project billing remotely, preferably in the Central or Eastern time zones.

The role emphasizes managing client inquiries, validating billable time, and ensuring compliance with established accounting standards and billing policy, while collaborating with project managers and cash applications to improve cash flow. Preference given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3+ years in project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or commensurate relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience preferred in accounting/finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in engineering/construction or services industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support project billing processes and invoicing.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely billing and accuracy.
• Design processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables.
• Handle client inquiries and manage collections activities as needed.
• Assist with year-end close and audit preparation as required.
