Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Project Accounting Coordinator II to support remote billing in the Central or Eastern time zone. The role focuses on project setup, monthly invoicing, and ensuring timely client communications regarding billing and collections.

You will work with Project Managers to implement cash-flow improvements, monitor overdue accounts, and assist with year-end audits. A background in accounting and Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or commensurate relevant experience.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in engineering/construction or services industry is required.
• Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint or similar accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly invoicing for projects, including drafting and issuing invoices to clients.
• Verify and record billable time and ensure accuracy of project charges.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and collections.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Assist with vendor invoices review and process.
• Support annual financial audit preparation as needed.
