Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Project Accounting Coordinator II for remote work, preferably in the Central or Eastern time zones. The role centers on the project billing process, ensuring chargeable time is verified and client inquiries are addressed according to policy.

You will set up new projects, manage monthly invoicing, monitor collections, and support audits. A Bachelor's degree in accounting and experience with Deltek Vantagepoint are preferred. Bowman offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or commensurate relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance preferred.
• Proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar accounting system.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage project set-up for new projects and monthly invoicing.
• Coordinate and issue timely draft invoices to Project Managers.
• Process billing edits including transfers, labor adjustments, and notes.
• Review vendor and subcontractor invoices and payments.
• Assist with client inquiries and project accounting audits.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting or commensurate relevant experience
