Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a professional Program Manager to support volunteer engagement across SAF/ISD and Corporate Departments. This is a fully remote position and can be located anywhere in the USA.

You will provide consultation, coordinate activities, and develop reporting to help departments recruit and engage volunteers in alignment with mission objectives. Strong collaboration and data-driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of program or service and ability to create presentations and training modules.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to develop project plans, budgets, and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of SAF/ISD and Corporate Departments.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with program managers, department stakeholders, and volunteers.
• Consult with departments to identify workforce needs and determine volunteer engagement and recruitment strategies.
• Support departments in implementing recruitment plans and navigating volunteer processes.
• Coordinate communications, meetings, and stakeholder updates.
• Pull, analyze, and interpret volunteer workforce data to support decision-making.
