Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a professional Program Manager to support volunteer workforce engagement across SAF/ISD and Corporate Departments. This fully remote role can be located anywhere in the USA, and serves as the primary relationship manager for an assigned portfolio with program managers and stakeholders.

You will develop recruitment strategies, coordinate communications, analyze volunteer data, and create reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Excellent oral and written communication, training and presentations.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and strategies to achieve goals.
• Ability to analyze data and support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of SAF/ISD and Corporate Departments.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with program managers, department stakeholders, Volunteer Services teams, and cross-functional partners.
• Consult with departments to identify workforce needs and determine volunteer engagement and recruitment strategies.
• Support departments in implementing recruitment plans and navigating volunteer workforce processes.
• Coordinate communications, meetings, briefings, and stakeholder updates.
• Manage Volunteer Connection activities, including position management and reporting.
• Provide guidance on volunteer workforce policies and best practices.
• Support volunteer leaders and teams that sustain enterprise and global positions.
• Pull, analyze, and interpret volunteer workforce data for decision-making.
• Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and leadership updates.
• Monitor workforce trends, vacancies, recruitment activity, and engagement metrics.
• Partner with stakeholders to address challenges and opportunities in volunteer utilization.
• Support enterprise initiatives and strategic projects.
