Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Program Manager to support volunteer workforce engagement across SAF/ISD and Corporate departments. This fully remote role can be located anywhere in the USA and focuses on mentoring, recruitment strategy, onboarding, and stakeholder coordination.

The role emphasizes strong communication, data analysis, and project execution to advance mission objectives while aligning with organizational goals and enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Strong communication, training, and presentation abilities.
• Analytical and budgeting skills.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of SAF/ISD and Corporate Departments.
• Build relationships with program managers and department stakeholders.
• Identify workforce needs and determine recruitment strategies.
• Support departments in implementing recruitment plans and engagement activities.
• Coordinate communications, meetings, briefings, and updates.
• Manage Volunteer Connection activities, including reporting and workflows.
• Provide guidance on volunteer workforce policies and best practices.
• Support volunteer leaders and teams to sustain enterprise positions.
• Pull and interpret volunteer workforce data for decision-making.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and leadership updates.
• Monitor workforce trends and recruitment activity across departments.
• Partner with stakeholders to address challenges and improve utilization.
• Support enterprise initiatives and priorities.
