Rocket Software in the United States (Remote) is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer – a senior consultant who will provide technical leadership and delivery of mainframe modernization solutions to customers undergoing digital transformation.

The role emphasizes deep technical expertise in IBM mainframe environments, project leadership, customer engagement, and collaboration with delivery architects to design, pilot, and deploy modernized solutions such as COBOL/DB2 migrations, cloud

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant technical experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in complex IT project implementations.
• Analytical mindset to analyze test results and defects.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.

Responsabilités

• Provide services to customers (75%).
• Leads design and deployment of Rocket products.
• Collaborate with Delivery Architects on new solutions.
• Create proofs of concept and pilots.
• Present technical content to peers and customers.
• Mentor team and manage resource needs.
• Coordinate with PM on scope and risks.
