Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal PreSales Systems Engineer for HPE Networking. You will manage pre-sales technical and functional support to Global Major Accounts, articulate business value of HPE Networking, and collaborate with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities and drive engagements.

The role emphasizes solution selling, architectural design, and delivery of tailored network solutions across campus and distributed environments in the Atlanta Metropolitan area.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in infrastructure engineering with successful pre-sales support.
• Ability to design and manage complex network solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience interfacing with senior-level internal/external stakeholders.
• Extensive Aruba Networking or Juniper Mist Networking knowledge.
• Routing, switching, and network security expertise.
• NAC experience with Clearpass, ISE, Cloud NAC, Juniper Access Assurance.
• Wireless design, deployment, troubleshooting, and site survey knowledge (Ekahau/Hamina).
• CWNA/CWDP/CWSP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage account and partner responsibilities for selected Global Major accounts.
• Provide hardware, software, and services to meet complex customer needs.
• Develop bid, proposal, and presentation of solutions to prospects.
• Deliver technical and sales support for accounts in the territory.
• Present to customers, partners, and prospects; manage channel partners.
• Grow relationships and maintain a sales pipeline and forecasts.
• Provide technical expertise to sales staff and customers via presentations/demos.
• Create detailed design/implementation specs for complex solutions.
• Build proofs of concept from customer requirements.
