Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal Presales, Systems Engineer, primarily remote from home. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, leading architecture workshops, PoC engagements, and RFP responses across data center, WAN, cloud, and AI infrastructure projects.

Partner with sales teams to translate customer requirements into compelling, scalable solutions while collaborating with engineering, product, and partner stakeholders to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical pre-sales or systems engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, CS, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience designing, architecting, and delivering large-scale Data Center, WAN, Cloud, AI Infrastructure, and Service Provider networking solutions.
• Strong ability to engage architects, engineers, decision-makers and executives through presentations and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, partners, and account teams throughout the sales lifecycle.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, executive presentations, product demonstrations, and PoC engagements.
• Own and deliver technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring accurate, compelling proposals.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across engineering, product, and partner organizations.
• Advise on data center modernization, AI networking architectures, and cloud connectivity.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to advocate for customer requirements.
