Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Prevailing Wage Compliance Specialist to lead labor compliance for nationwide, primarily remote, utility-scale projects. You will oversee wage determinations, job classifications, and audits across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

The role requires strong judgment and supervisory experience, proficiency with LCPTracker and payroll documentation, and occasional travel to offices or jobsites.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience with labor compliance expertise.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in compliance on federal/state funded construction projects.
• Experience leading and mentoring other compliance professionals.
• Advanced knowledge of federal/state labor laws including DBRA and DOL; prevailing wage enforcement, apprenticeship standards, and public works compliance.
• Proven ability to review, audit, and respond to government audits and inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor compliance leadership for national regions across projects and contractors.
• Independently manage complex prevailing wage compliance obligations for internal self-perform work and subcontractors.
• Review and audit DOL classification requests and supporting documentation for compliance.
• Interpret and apply complex labor compliance requirements (PLAs, fringe benefits, apprentice utilization).
• Conduct proactive audits and risk assessments to identify and resolve findings and deficiencies.
• Coordinate with clients, federal/state agencies, and SOLV leadership on audit responses and reporting.
