Job summary

Fortra is seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer to join our Sales team. In this role, you’ll engage with prospective customers to understand technical and business requirements, demonstrate capabilities, and craft tailored proposals while supporting webinars, events, and content development.

You’ll partner across sales, marketing, and engineering to deliver compelling demos, manage trials and proofs of concept, and build trusted relationships with clients at all levels, including executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical or business field.
• Experience in a technical, customer-facing software or solutions role preferred.
• Ability to learn new products quickly and communicate complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales reps and collaborate on activities with prospective customers.
• Conduct pain-discovery and articulate solutions addressing customer needs.
• Develop and deliver high-impact product demonstrations and trials.
• Own customer evaluation processes including proofs of concept.
• Identify objections and collaborate on remediation with teams.
