Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers, architects, and specialists. The role focuses on coaching, training, and developing Solutions Engineers, while participating in customer meetings to advance deals with the team.

The position requires remote work within the United States, with 35% travel. You will engage multiple stakeholder levels, collaborate with sales, and train teams on solution positioning to meet enterprise needs and close

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years in a Pre‑Sales Technical role.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security and Network sales.
Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
Position requires 35% travel for business.

Responsibilities

Coach, train and develop Solutions Engineers on presales methodologies.
Engage with CIO/CTO and IT Directors to uncover opportunities and move deals forward.
Collaborate with sales to address the technical aspects of solutions.
Train sales teams on company positioning of solution practices.
Monitor team performance and provide actionable feedback.
