Job summary
SHI International Corp. is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers, architects, and specialists, coaching and developing them to deliver the right technical solutions that meet customer needs.
This remote role supports several US regions and requires travel (about 35%). You will partner with sales to close deals, train teams on solution positioning, and drive performance across the group.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Engage with CIO, CTO, IT Directors, and Application Managers to sell and build relationships.
- Collaborate with the sales team to close deals by addressing the technical side of solutions.
- Engage with Local Technology Community (MFGs and SI Partners) to establish market credibility.
- Strategically train the sales team on positioning company solution practices, aligned with customer needs.
- Monitor employee performance and attendance, provide feedback, and drive recognition.
