Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers, architects, and specialists focused on delivering the right technical solutions to meet customer needs.

You will coach, train, and develop solutions engineers, and participate in customer meetings to move deals forward and close opportunities with the team. The role is remote within the United States, covering West, Northeast, Southeast, and Texas regions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years in a Pre‑Sales Technical role.
Minimum 3 years of experience with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
Position requires 35% travel for business.

Responsibilities

Engage with multiple levels of client contacts, including CIO/CTO/IT Directors, to sell and uncover opportunities.
Collaborate with sales to close deals by addressing the technical aspects of recommended solutions.
Engage with manufacturers and SI partners to establish market credibility and drive opportunities.
Train the sales team on positionings of company solution practices and enterprise needs.
Monitor performance and attendance, provide feedback, and recognize high performers.
