Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a senior Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of Engineers, Architects, and Specialists delivering optimal technical solutions for customer needs.

The role focuses on coaching, training, and developing Solutions Engineers while guiding customer meetings to advance deals with the sales team. This remote position includes responsibilities across engagement with CIO/CTO levels, market credibility efforts with MFGs and SI Partners, and strategic training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
• Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
• Position requires 35% travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with multiple layers of contacts within a client’s organization to sell, build relationships and uncover opportunities.
• Collaborating with sales team to close deals by speaking to the technical side of solutions.
• Engaging with manufacturers and SI partners to establish market credibility.
• Strategically training the sales team on positioning of company solution practices.
• Monitor employee performance and drive team recognition.
