Job summary

SHI International is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers, architects, and specialists. You will coach, train, and develop Solutions Engineers, guiding technical engagements and helping move opportunities toward closure.

You will work remotely across the US regions, collaborating with sales and external partners while driving strategic initiatives and ensuring high-quality technical proposals. 35% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
• Minimum 2 years of development and coaching experience.
• Position requires 35% travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Solutions Engineers and presales staff.
• Support the sales team to close deals by addressing the technical aspects of solutions.
• Engage with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, and Application Managers to uncover opportunities.
• Train sales teams on the positioning of company solution practices and ongoing enterprise needs.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure successful implementation and outcomes.
