Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of Engineers, Architects, and Specialists and guide them in delivering the right technical solutions for customers. You will coach, train, and develop Solutions Engineers and participate in customer meetings to advance deals.

You will mentor the team, collaborate with sales, and drive successful outcomes while traveling up to 35% to support business needs across defined US regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
• Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
• Position requires 35% of travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Engage with multiple layers of client contacts (CIO, CTO, IT Directors, Application Managers) to sell, build relationships and uncover opportunities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to close deals by addressing the technical aspects of recommended solutions.
• Engage the Local Technology Community and the appropriate customer technical personnel to establish market credibility.
• Strategically train the sales team on the positioning of company solution practices and customer needs.
• Monitor employee performance and attendance, provide actionable feedback, and drive recognition.
