Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Power Delivery - Project Manager to oversee HV/EHV substation and transmission line engineering projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and client relations across the South and Southwest region. Based in Houston, Austin, or Fort Worth with optional remote work.

The role requires extensive PM experience in the Power Delivery/Utility sector, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage complex multi-disciplinary teams and contracts. Travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field in Power & Energy.
• 12+ years of post-education project management experience in Power Delivery/Utility.
• 5+ years leading engineering/construction teams for HV/EHV projects.
• Experience with contract management, risk management, scheduling and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV/EHV substations and transmission projects, including budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
• Engage stakeholders at all levels and report on project progress.
• Lead or participate in contract reviews, risk mitigation and pricing discussions.
• May lead client presentations and contract negotiations.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and proper technical reviews.
