WSP USA is seeking a Project Manager for Power Delivery with responsibility for initiating and executing high voltage and EHV Substation and Transmission projects across the region. The role emphasizes coordinating design, budgets, forecasts, and KPI tracking while maintaining client relationships and delivering high-quality project outcomes.

You will work with engineers, contractors, and clients, managing risk, schedules, and QA/QC, and traveling to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field in Power & Energy.
• 12+ years post-education experience in a project management role within Power Delivery/Utility.
• Minimum of 5 years leading engineering/construction teams for high voltage/EHV Substation and Transmission projects.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis, etc.
• Knowledge of project management processes/tools: Contract Management, Team Meeting Management, Earned Value Management, Change Management, Risk Management, Schedule Management (Primavera P6).

Responsabilités

• Provide PM leadership for high voltage and EHV Substation and Transmission projects, overseeing budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs and risk contingencies.
• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder engagement and report on project progress.
• Guide pursuit/initiation activities including Go/No-Go decisions, contract reviews, risk mitigation, and pricing.
• Lead contract negotiations and client presentations as needed.
• Oversee technical reviews and QA/QC adherence by staff.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams and strategic client advice.
• Provide mentorship to staff and ensure documentation updates (RMP, PMP, QP, PSP, Communications Plan).
• Lead project kickoff meetings and coordinate resource/subcontracting with managers.
• Maintain client communications with monthly status, safety incidents, and scope/budget impact reports.
• Assist with project recovery plans and lessons learned.
• Collaborate across disciplines for trusted-advisor solutions.
