Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Manager for our Power Delivery Project Management team in the Midwestern region. This role supports high voltage and EHV substation, transmission and distribution projects, with travel to client sites as needed and remote work options.

You will lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cross-functional teams, develop client relationships, ensure QA/QC adherence, and deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant post-education experience, preferably in Power Delivery/Utility PM.
• 3+ years leading engineering/construction teams for high voltage projects.
• Experience with IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management processes/tools (Contract, Scheduling, EVM, Change, Risk).

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning across initiation, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and close-out.
• Manage project schedule, budget, and resources (vendors/contractors).
• Lead client discussions and grow client relationships.
• Serve as the primary project authority on major issues.
• Ensure QA/QC and regulatory/compliance adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee cross-functional teams and manage hours, expenses, and deliverables.
