Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Power Delivery Project Manager to lead the development, execution, and monitoring of transmission, distribution, and substation projects in Texas or Louisiana with optional remote work in the southeast. Travel to client offices for meetings is required.

The role demands 15+ years in PM or senior leadership within power delivery, strong lifecycle expertise, and ability to drive budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation while mentoring teams and ensuring QA/QC compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years in project management or senior technical leadership for power delivery.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery lifecycle in A/E/C and utility industries.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets, risks, and schedules.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for large-scale utility infrastructure projects across transmission, distribution, and substation scopes.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, KPIs, earned value, and manage schedule and cost control.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and reporting to clients, leadership, and regulators.
• Lead technical and commercial contract discussions with IOUs, IPPs, and cooperatives.
• Mentor project managers and staff; ensure QA/QC and safety adherence.
• Maintain governance through Risk Registers and PMP; ensure timely project closeout.
