Job summary

Shift4 Payments is seeking a Solution Specialist for remote work to drive merchant adoption of Point of Sale solutions. You will set appointments, prospect by phone and in person when possible, and present Shift4 products to create value for merchants.

You will develop new accounts in assigned territories, qualify opportunities, and collaborate with management to forecast pipeline. Prior outside sales or hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Willingness to cold-call and set meetings with potential clients in-person.
• Willingness to close deals in a fast pace sales cycle.
• Requires an entrepreneurial spirit and hunter-like mentality.
• Computer and smartphone literacy.
• CRM experience.
• Restaurant hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set appointments with merchants to present Point of Sale and related services.
• Prospect over the phone and through networking to build referrals.
• Assist clients with add-on services including Hardware, Software, and Professional Services.
• Develop new accounts and target growth opportunities in assigned territory.
• Maintain professionalism and follow company policies to grow market share.
