Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with five years progressively more responsible related work experience.
• Experience understanding a research study and its conduct, contributing to objectives.
• High accuracy, discretion and confidentiality in handling information.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience managing a team toward complex goals.
• Completed project management training and familiarity with grant work.
• Remote work capability.

Responsibilities

• Manage project support team assignments with deadlines and interdependencies.
• Provide direct supervision and develop performance feedback and training.
• Develop, monitor and track project timelines; alert on off-track tasks.
• Ensure completion of deliverables and milestones for the project support team.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings, including contract negotiations with vendors.
• Assist Project Manager with planning and delegation across teams.
• Identify opportunities for project efficiencies and improvements.
• Support contract development with funders and vendor contracts; ensure compliance.
• Verify and track non-personnel expenditures monthly against budget.
• Liaise between external collaborators and internal teams on timelines and tasks.
• Contribute to proposal development and grant writing; edit and track inputs.
• Pursue activities for own professional development.
