Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health in the United States is seeking a PMO Manager to lead project support teams, coordinate timelines, and manage contracts with external partners. The role requires strong organizational skills and experience overseeing complex research projects.

You will travel overnight as needed, contribute to proposals and grant activities, and work closely with the Project Manager to ensure milestones are met and deliverables are on budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with five years progressively more responsible related work experience.
• Demonstrated thorough understanding of a research study and its conduct, including technical requirements, and how objectives contribute to program goals.
• Demonstrated high accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience managing a team toward complex goals.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Completed project management training.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage project support team assignments, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.
• Coordinate project team tasks and interdependencies with other project groups.
• Provide direct supervision to project support team members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist in developing, monitoring, and tracking project timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings logistics and manage vendor contracts; some overnight travel may be required.
• Support the Project Manager with planning, delegation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements within the project support team.
• Assist with contract development with funders and ensure compliance with grant specifications.
