Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health seeks a PMO Manager to lead the project management office supporting multi-project research initiatives. The role emphasizes governance, timelines, budgeting, and vendor coordination.

You will supervise the project support team, coordinate with researchers and external collaborators, and help ensure timely, high-quality deliverables while managing risk and resources. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of progressively responsible related work experience.
• Strong understanding of research projects and study conduct.
• Very high accuracy, discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage project support team assignments, deadlines, responsibilities and interdependencies.
• Supervise the project support team with performance feedback and development.
• Develop, monitor, and track project timelines and milestones; alert when off track.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings, materials and vendor contracts; some travel.
• Assist Project Manager with planning and delegation across teams; ensure deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies in project support and management tasks.
• Support contract development with funder and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Verify and track non-personnel expenditures monthly in financial systems.
• Develop and document project procedures and work instructions; implement with team.
• Liaise with external collaborators and internal teams for timelines and tasks.
• Contribute to proposal development and grant writing; edit and collate inputs.
