Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Payroll Accountant to process multi-state payroll remotely, using Ceridian/Dayforce, on a bi-weekly schedule for exempt and non-exempt staff. You will collaborate with managers to ensure accurate hours, 401k deferrals, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities include supporting Accounts Payable tasks when needed, generating payroll analytics, and assisting with audits while maintaining strict confidentiality of employee data and payroll records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Experience with garnishments, levies, liens, and subpoenas.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and analytical reporting.
• Must pass background checks and vaccination policy.
• Experience with Accounts Payable is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll using Ceridian/Dayforce for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Coordinate with managers to ensure hours are submitted accurately and approved on time.
• Update 401k deferrals, employer match, and loans in payroll records.
• Verify 401k data and tax withholdings for timely submissions.
• Process off-cycle payrolls and year-end filings; ensure tax compliance.
• Assist with Accounts Payable tasks and vendor payments when needed.
• Produce payroll analytics and assist audits; maintain confidentiality.
