Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Payroll Accountant for a fully remote, nationwide role. You will process payroll using Ceridian/Dayforce, manage multi-state compliance, and coordinate with HR and finance to ensure accurate records and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of garnishments, tax rules, and benefits-related processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or related field.
• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Experience with garnishments, levies, liens, and subpoenas.
• Knowledge of benefits rules and regulations.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll using Ceridian/Dayforce bi-weekly.
• Ensure employee hours are submitted and approved on time.
• Update 401k deferrals, employer match, and 401k loans.
• Verify and process 401k payroll data for timely submissions.
• Set up garnishment and tax levy calculations as required.
• Process off-cycle payrolls as needed.
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax laws at all levels.
• Prepare year-end W-2 and 401K census reporting.
