Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant, Payroll to manage timely payroll processing for a nationwide workforce using Ceridian/Dayforce. You will handle tax reports, garnishments, and related deductions, while supporting Accounts Payable and financial processes across departments.

The role requires 2–3 years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or related field.
• 2-3 years payroll processing experience.
• Experience in multi-state payroll.
• Knowledge of garnishments, levies and tax rules.
• Excellent Excel and analytical reporting skills.
• Vaccination policy adherence and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll using Dayforce for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Ensure hours submitted and approved, resolve discrepancies.
• Update 401k deferrals and employer match in payroll system.
• Process year-end W-2 and 401K census reporting.
• Assist with Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and reconciliations.
• Maintain payroll procedures and assist with audits and reporting.
