Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accountant, Payroll to manage bi-weekly payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt staff using Ceridian/Dayforce. You will ensure hours are accurate, update 401k deferrals and employer matches, and handle garnishments and tax withholdings with precision.

You will also support Accounts Payable, perform detailed reconciliations, and assist with year-end reporting and audits, all within a fully remote, multi-state environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field.
• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll using Ceridian/Dayforce on a bi-weekly basis for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure hours are submitted and approved timely.
• Update 401k deferrals, employer match, and 401k loans in the system.
• Manage garnishments, tax levies, and related paperwork.
• Support Accounts Payable with vendor invoices and reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end W-2 and 401K census reporting.
• Participate in audits and maintain payroll-related SOPs.
