Job summary

Connections Health Solutions in the United States is seeking a Payroll Accountant to manage timely payroll processing, tax reporting, and deductions across multiple states. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with finance teams.

You will process bi-weekly payroll in Ceridian/Dayforce, update records for 401(k) and taxes, ensure accurate hours, and support the Accounts Payable team. This is a fully remote position for eligible states with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or related field.
• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong background in payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with garnishments, levies, liens, and subpoenas.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis using Ceridian/Dayforce for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Ensure hours are submitted, approved, and any discrepancies resolved.
• Update 401k deferrals, employer match, and loan data; process year-end W-2/401K reporting.
• Set up garnishments and tax levies; handle off-cycle payrolls as needed.
• Support Accounts Payable with vendor invoicing and reconciliations as required.
• Create SOPs and participate in audits; maintain payroll confidentiality.
