Oak Street Health is seeking a Remote Contact Center Service Advocate I to support patients by scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing courteous service. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some undergraduate education preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience; call center experience preferred.
• Flexible and positive attitude.
• Friendly and nurturing toward older adults.
• Experience with EMR documentation preferred.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Outstanding phone demeanor and etiquette.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficient PC skills including basic Excel.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments via inbound/outbound calls.
• Provide courteous, professional service and address patient inquiries.
• Enter patient information and appointment details into the scheduling system.
• Clearly communicate appointment details and instructions to patients.
• Address scheduling conflicts and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth scheduling operations.
• Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments and send reminders.
• Maintain accurate records of all patient interactions and transactions.
• Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
