Oak Street Health is seeking a Contact Center Service Advocate I to support our patients remotely. You will handle scheduling, communicate clearly with patients, and work with care teams to ensure seamless appointment experiences.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of customer service experience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Remote training and a 40-hour workweek with potential weekend shifts are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some undergraduate education preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience; call center experience preferred.
• Flexible and positive attitude with a nurturing approach to patients.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Outstanding phone demeanor and etiquette; proficient PC skills including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
• Provide courteous and professional service to patients; address inquiries and concerns.
• Accurately enter patient information and appointment details into scheduling system.
• Communicate appointment details and instructions clearly to patients.
• Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues promptly.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other departments for smooth scheduling operations.
• Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments and provide reminders.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and transactions.
