Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Remote Contact Center Service Advocate I to help deliver an unmatched patient experience by scheduling appointments and handling inbound/outbound calls. This full-time role requires a High School diploma, 1 year of customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

You will enter data accurately and collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some undergraduate education preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience; call center environment experience preferred.
• Flexible and positive attitude; nurturing toward older adult patients.
• Experience with EMR documentation preferred.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Outstanding phone demeanor and etiquette.
• Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Polish speakers preferred.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
• Provide courteous and professional service to patients.
• Enter patient information and appointment details into the scheduling system.
• Communicate appointment details and any necessary instructions to patients.
• Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues promptly.
• Work closely with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth scheduling operations.
• Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments and provide reminders to patients.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and transactions with patients.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned.
