Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Contact Center Service Advocate I in a remote capacity. You will handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule and modify appointments, delivering exceptional patient service and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities include communicating clearly, solving scheduling issues, collaborating with medical staff, and following up with patients to ensure a great experience. Requires 1 year of customer service and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; undergraduate education preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or call center experience.
• Proficient PC skills, including basic Excel skills.
• Experience with EMR documentation is preferred.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Appointment Scheduling: handle inbound/outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
• Provide courteous, professional service and address inquiries.
• Accurately enter patient information and appointment details.
• Communicate appointment details and instructions clearly to patients.
• Address and resolve scheduling conflicts promptly.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth scheduling operations.
• Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments and provide reminders.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
