Oak Street Health is seeking a Contact Center Service Advocate I to deliver exceptional patient scheduling and service in a remote setting. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments, and maintain accurate data in the scheduling system.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and comfort with EMR documentation. Typical hours total 40 per week, with a 24/7 center that may include weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some undergraduate education preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience; call center experience preferred.
• Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Polish speakers preferred.
• Proficient PC skills including basic Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Appointment Scheduling: Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
• Customer Interaction: Provide courteous and professional service to patients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter patient information and appointment details into scheduling system.
• Communication: Convey appointment details and instructions clearly to patients.
• Problem Resolution: Resolve scheduling conflicts or issues promptly.
• Collaboration: Work with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth scheduling.
• Follow-Up: Call to confirm appointments and provide reminders.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions.
